Creve Coeur: A Lush Hideaway Outside of St. Louis

Creve Coeur is a city located in west St. Louis County, Missouri. With approximately 18,000 residents, Creve Coeur began with a single road: Olive Street Road, which has been renamed as Olive Boulevard. Creve Coeur was one of the many of the communities that grew along Olive Street Road. The city earned its name, which means “broken heart” in French, from nearby Creve Coeur Lake. Speaking of Creve Coeur Lake, the Dragon Boat Festival is held on this beautiful lake every year.  Triple AAA rated school district of Ladue. If you’d like to visit the lake before then, there are always plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities to engage in such as a six mile walking/biking path, a Frisbee golf course, and of course, the lake itself, where you can kayak, sail, or paddleboard. As for our central location at The Vue at Creve Couer Apartment Homes, we offer close proximity to many restaurants such as California Pizza Kitchen, Stir Crazy, and Panera Bread. If you prefer to dine at home, check out nearby Trader Joe's, Dierbergs, and Schnucks.  We are close to major employers such as Boeing, Danforth, Monsanto, Mercy Hospital and Barnes Jewish hospital.  Clayton and Ladue is just around the corner. The Vue is in Ladue school district! Craving the hustle and bustle of the city? St. Louis is twenty minutes west of Creve Coeur. St. Louis is jam-packed with culture. In the city, you can enjoy a host of activities including the Saint Louis Zoo, City Museum, Grant’s Farm, and of course, the famous St. Louis Cardinals and Gateway Arch.
